The EPIC 2500 x 6.5mm Over Driven Individual Clamp Hydraulic Guillotine was designed and manufactured in the company's NSW workshop. EPIC has been designing and manufacturing sheet metal processing equipment for more than 40 years. INDIVIDUAL CLAMP CYLINDERS

The guillotine is equipped with individual clamp cylinders to securely fasten the uneven plate. Pressure automatically adjusts in line with the shearing force.

TOP BEAM GUIDED BY FULLY MACHINED HEAVY-DUTY SLIDES

The top beam on EPIC’s over driven guillotines is guided by fully machined heavy-duty slides. The slides are brass lined to provide an excellent cut and long life. The slides are fully adjustable to allow for regrinds, and have lubrication points.

DOUBLE-ACTING CLAMP CYLINDERS

Double-acting hard chromium-plated cylinders connected to the cutting beam accomplish the shearing operation, providing maximum tonnage and transferring all forces safely and smoothly to the frame.

OPTIONAL VARIABLE RAKE ADJUSTMENT

EPIC’S variable rake adjustment supports cutting light gauge material with a faster stroke and minimal twist. Adjusting the rake reduces the distance the guillotine has to travel, thereby speeding up the stroke.

OPTIONAL RAPID BLADE ADJUSTMENT

If the guillotine is intended for shearing varied thicknesses of material, EPIC recommends incorporating rapid blade adjustment. This option supports simple setting of the blade gap via a handle at the back of the machine.
