HYDRAULIC RAM MOUNTING SYSTEM

EPIC's hydraulic ram mounting system is designed for minimal deflection under recommended loads. The full tonnage delivered by the clamping rams is transferred to the head through the trunnion bearings. The bearings are mounted to the side frames of the machine providing support even at the centre of the machine head and minimising any side movement. When bending at full capacity this achieves a smaller radius and a nice straight bend/fold.

RAPID HEAD ADJUSTMENT

EPIC's rapid head adjustment feature allows the operator to quickly and easily change from material as thin as 0.5mm up to the machine's material and thickness capacity. Simply adjust the side handles and indexing pins to the required gauge setting.

1-PIECE HIGH-CARBON STEEL FLAME-HARDENED CLAMPING FINGERS

High-carbon steel flame-hardened segmented clamping fingers are machined from one solid piece. This allows the full load of material being folded to be spread over an equal area of the head, and keeps the fingers straight.

The 3710HPB3 is 100% Australian-made and designed in our NSW workshop.
